Instructions for use:
Cleaning the surfaces of the parts by removing contamination.
Hold the breast shield on the chest with your thumb and index finger.
Support the chest with the palm of your hand.
Insert the unused short hose into the Y-piece.
Place the second breast shield on your chest so that the nipple is centrally located in the shaft.
Do not bend the hose during the expression.
Before first use, remove and discard the protective cap from the breast shield.
Disassemble the pump set into its individual parts (breast shield, connector, diaphragm and bottle).
Open the cover on the back of the connector by pressing both tabs.
Check all parts for damage.
Replace damaged or worn parts.
Dry the parts with a clean cloth or place them on a clean cloth to dry. Store the clean parts in a clean storage bag or in a clean environment. Do not store the parts in an airtight container/bag if they are still damp.
It is important that any remaining moisture dries up.
Cleaning the hose:
No visible residue: no cleaning required
Visible remains:
- Rinse the hose with clean water.
- Wash the hose in warm, soapy water.
- Rinse the hose with clean water.
- Shake out the water droplets.
- Hang to air dry.
Precautionary measures:
Do not spray or pour liquid directly onto the breast pump.
Use only drinking quality water for cleaning.
Disassemble the breast pump and clean all parts that come into contact with the breast and breast milk immediately after use to prevent milk residue from drying and to prevent bacteria from growing.
Do not clean the hose with Quick Clean bags in the microwave.
Before cleaning the motor unit, disconnect the breast pump from the power supply.
